Aero is a series of Nerf blasters that was released in 1996.

The Aero series was a rather short-lived series, as it began and ended within two years. It only had one blaster, which was a re-release of the 1992 Original Nerf NB-1 Missile Blaster, as well as one product. The Aero series was unique for its attempt to create blasters which would fire ammo that would glide in the air, although it was cut short due to lack of blasters.

Interestingly, the series was involved with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) in order to create a glider toy that would fly extremely far. This experiment took place in 1997, and the Gliders were launched in two variations after months of research.
