Not to be confused with the Atom Blasters series.
It comes packaged with one Ballistic Ball.
It is a small blaster that fires a single Ballistic Ball. It has a similar name to the Atomizer.
It was created by Barry Kudrowitz for Hasbro for his master's degree at MIT. During production, it was referred to the "Hand Popper", and over the various stages of development, it had been a stomp grenade, a hand grenade, and even a water blaster.
Reloading and firing
To reload the Atom Blaster, place a Ballistic Ball into the blaster's muzzle. Pull the trigger to fire; there is no need to prime it.
|Firing range||7/10||This blaster fires about twenty-five to forty feet, depending on the angle at which it is positioned.|
|Accuracy||5/10||This blaster, being one of the smallest to use the Ballistic Ball as ammo, does not shoot very accurately.|
|Reliability||10/10||This blaster will not jam unless by human error.|
|Rate of fire||2/10||This blaster, being a single fire blaster, shoots about one ball every two or three seconds, depending on how fast it is loaded.|
|Capacity||2/10||This blaster holds one ball at a time.|
|5.2/10||Overall, the Atom Blaster is okay for a secondary blaster, but isn't worth being a primary. However, it is an excellent stealth blaster as it is very quiet and small.|
