The Chainblazer is a push-and-pull style chain-fed blaster. The blaster features two handles and a loading guard when chains are inserted onto the blaster. While the blaster is capable of holding any length of chains, it is recommended not to use more than ten darts at a time to prevent jams and misfires.
It was succeeded by the 1997 Cyber Stryke Gear RotoTrack. The RotoTrack was a significant improvement on the Chainblazer; it included a twelve dart chain, and was also much more reliable and durable than the Chainblazer was.
- Some Nerfers modify their Chainblazers to have four barrels, one between each tooth on the gear used to advance the chain, creating an effective revolver.
