The Clear Shot is a Nerf blaster that was released in fall of 2014 under the Z.E.D. Squad sub-series.
It comes packaged with a Clear Shot scope and four Zombie Strike Darts.[2]
In Germany, it is exclusive to Müller drug stores.
Details
The Clear Shot is essentially a re-release of the 2009 Dart Tag Stormfire. It is a single-fire spring-powered blaster that features four dart holders: three under the blaster's muzzle and one in the handle. A single tactical rail is located on top of the blaster. An iron sight is built-in to the front of the blaster to help guide the player when aiming.
The Clear Shot does not feature N-Strike Elite ranges and does not feature any sort of improvement to performance.[2] The Zombie Strike logo can be seen several times on the shell of the blaster.
History
It was first revealed on June 15, 2014 by Dartblaster.de.[3] It was then added to Target's American website on June 23, 2014.
The blaster was initially a Target exclusive in the United States.
Reloading and firing
To reload the Clear Shot, load a dart into the muzzle of the blaster and pull the slide on the back of the blaster to prime it.
Pull the trigger to fire a dart.
Trivia
- This would not be the first time a Dart Tag blaster was re-released; previously, the Magstrike and Speedswarm had both been re-released as the N-Strike Magstrike AS-10 and Rebelle Powerbelle respectively.
