It comes packaged with the electronic ball, a clip, and six different colored chip-like devices.
It uses an electronic ball to allow up to six players to play keep away. It requires 4 AAA batteries to function. Similar to that of the Tech Target, there are four included games; Fast Pass, Code Challenge, Add One and You're Out.
Cosmic Keep Away is the successor to Cosmic Catch. The name was trademarked in July of 2007. Interestingly, it was trademarked alongside two other products, the Cosmic Race and Cosmic Kick, although neither surfaced as finalized products.
After the success of Cosmic Catch, a follow-up game was designed using the same technology, but adding the ability to have the players compete against each other in teams. This version became Cosmic Keep Away.
For unknown reasons, unlike the Cosmic Catch game, the Cosmic Keep Away game always came packaged with the same color ball, and was always packaged under the Nerf brand.
