The Dart Blaster Pen (commonly known as the Pen Blaster) is a single-fire Nerf blaster that was released in 2002.
When first released, it came in a package alongside three other Hasbro lines.
It comes packaged with two Pen Blaster darts.
Details
The Dart Blaster Pen is a blaster that is built into a pen. The blaster is operated by bending the pen into an "L" shape, where a trigger can be formed and activated. The blaster uses its own smaller ammunition, the Pen Blaster dart, the only dart smaller than a Micro Dart to this day.
This blaster was initially released in green, dark blue and orange, however was later re-released in an orange and yellow color scheme. Both versions are speculated to have equal performance.
History
The blaster was re-released some time after 2003 under a new color scheme. It was sold in a four pack alongside other Hasbro lines, all adapted into various pens based off of each's respective storylines. Despite the fact that it used the new logo, the pen was not officially part of either the N-Strike or Action Blasters series that were sold around the same time.

The Dart Blaster Pen has been released in the following color schemes:
- Green and purple
- Orange and yellow
Reloading and firing
To reload the Dart Blaster Pen, simply insert one dart into the muzzle of the blaster. Pull the blaster down until the priming mechanism is revealed, and pull it backwards until it cannot go back nay further in order to prime the blaster.
Pull the trigger of the blaster to fire a dart.
