The FastBlast is a Nerf blaster that was released in 1999 under the Airjet Power Plus series.

It comes packaged with three Screamin' Micro Darts and two Micro Darts.

The FastBlast is a rather large manually-powered blaster. The blaster fires in a way unique to most Nerf blasters with turrets. Rather than the turret rotating with each prime, an air mechanism rotates, sending the air to a different barrel in a clockwise fashion each time. The user pulls the pump towards them, then pushes it in to both send air to the tank and rotate the rotation mechanism. Once fully pushed in, the blaster fires one dart.

It is the only blaster in either the Airjet Power or Airjet Power Plus series to not have a trigger.

Judging from a number of sources, the blaster was likely to have had a release in December of 1999.[3][4]

Reloading and firing

To reload the FastBlast, simply insert five darts into the front turret of the blaster. Pull the priming mechanism back as far as it can reach.

Quickly and sharply push forward to fire a dart.
