Details[]
Chewbacca's Bowcaster is a direct-prime-action single-shot blaster. As its name suggests, Chewbacca's Bowcaster resembles the Bowcaster used by the character Chewbacca.
It features an integrated scope on top of the blaster and has four dart holders on one side.
Despite the included ammunition's similarities to Micro Darts, they are in fact different, as they are longer and have a different tip. They are also said to have a wider internal diameter.
History[]
Chewbacca's Bowcaster was released as a part of the Power of the Force toyline.
It has been re-released various times to promote the Disney parks attraction Star Tours, first starting in 2002. For this promotion, the blaster was renamed to the Rebel Alliance Bowcaster and had alternate color schemes to match.
It was later re-released in 2005 as Chewbacca's Bowcaster, this time to promote Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.
