Details[]

The Magnus is a slide-action blaster with an internal clip that holds up to three darts at a time. This clip loads from a loading port atop the blaster. A jam release button on the left side of the blaster will clear jams; a pen or paper clip is required to reliably engage the release function.

A small tactical rail is located under the muzzle. The blaster also has a strap point built into the handle.

It advertises a firing range of up to eighty-five feet (twenty-six meters).

Official description[]

History[]

The Magnus was first discovered in September of 2013. In some countries, the Magnus was given soft releases between November to December of 2013.

In Singapore, it was a Toys "R" Us exclusive until summer of 2014.

It was re-released within its release year under the Zombie Strike Z.E.D. Squad sub-series, available in the Magnus 2 Pack.

Value packs[]

The Walmart-exclusive Magnus Bonus Pack comes with the blaster itself and twelve Mega Darts.

Trivia[]

  • A chambered dart may fall out of the Magnus if the blaster is swung about by its grip with sufficient force.
  • Rather than using the intended loading port and the internal clip, the Magnus can be used as a single-shot muzzle-loaded blaster, by priming it and front-loading a dart through the blaster's muzzle.
  • It is comparable to the Kronos XVIII-500, due to its similar internal clip.
