The Nerf Sports Pack features a number of different attachments for use with a Nintendo Wii Wii Remote, meant to make playing sports games more realistic. It is advertised to work specifically with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. A base grip where the Wiimote is meant to be housed is included, which the sports-themed accessories are mounted to.
Accessories included in the set include a tennis racket, golf club, baseball bat, fencing sword, and a ping pong racket. Some versions of the set also include a steering wheel, which is a standalone accessory that doesn't require the base grip.
Two fencing sword accessories would be re-released in their own Duel Play product set.
History[]
The Nerf Sports Pack was re-released at some point alongside or after the release of Wii Sports Resort, with new accessories to match the game; packaging was updated to reference, and the included base grip was modified to work with the Wii Motion Plus update to the Wiimote. Similarly, the set was re-released at another time with many new color schemes.
