Firefly REV-8
Blaster typeSingle-fire revolver direct plunger dart blasterFirefly REV-8
Ammunition typeGlow-in-the-dark Micro Darts
FeaturesOne tactical rail, two sling attachment points, integrated dart holder capable of holding eight darts
Scoring
Firing rangeThis blaster is advertised to shoot up to thirty feet, but it actually fires around forty feet angled. It shoots Streamline Darts about fifty feet.
ReliabilityIf loaded properly, this blaster will never jam. Despite this, Tagger Micro Darts have a tendency to jam. Also, it is sometimes hard to get a tight, comfortable grip on the blaster, and the trigger must be pulled back very far to fire it.
Rate of fireThe Firefly has a rate of fire of about two darts a second if the user rests a hand on the slide.
CapacityThis blaster holds eight darts in the barrel and another eight darts can be stored in its integrated stock; it holds sixteen darts total.
Final verdict and summary
Review PassThe Firefly is a blaster with superb characteristics such as range but falls short slightly in the rate of fire categories. Compared to today's blasters, it has higher power.
