For information on the blaster's standard features, see Firestrike (N-Strike Elite).

The Elite XD Firestrike is a re-release of the N-Strike Elite Firestrike that was re-released in 2014 under the N-Strike Elite series. It requires two "AAA" batteries to operate its integrated light.

It comes packaged with three Elite Darts.

Details

As its name suggests, the Elite XD Firestrike features improved "Elite XD" internals, which boosts its firing power.

It advertises a firing range of up to ninety feet in the US (compared to the original Elite version's seventy-five feet), or twenty-seven meters (compared to the original Elite version's twenty meters). Despite this, the re-release features the same firing range as its original counterpart.

Reloading and firing

To reload the Firestrike, load a dart into the blaster's muzzle. Pull the plunger tube back to prime the blaster.

Pull the trigger to fire a dart.

This blaster works with all Micro Dart and clip system dart types. Although a Streamline Dart won't fit all the way in the muzzle, it will still fire reasonably well.

Also, though unrecommended by Nerf, it works extremely well with a Whistler Dart and is very powerful and accurate, and creates a very noticeable whistling sound.[citation needed]
