The First Shot is a Lanard blaster that was released in 2003 under the Total X-Stream Air series.

It comes packaged with a detachable dart storage and ten Stealth Darts.

Details

The First Shot features an unique priming mechanism: instead of a conventional priming slide, handle, or rod, it features a lever above the blaster, which flips up when it is pulled back. The blaster also features a clip-on dart storage accessory; this accessory is attached below the barrel and can hold up to three darts at a time.

History

Earlier releases of the First Shot came packaged with Mega Dart-like darts; these darts were replaced with Stealth Darts with its orange, black, and yellow release.

Color schemes

The First Shot has been released with the following color schemes:

• Original (blue, silver, and orange)
• Blue, light blue, black, green, and silver
• Orange, black, and yellow

Blaster sets

The First Shot comes packaged in the Ultimate Triple Shots blaster set along with the Cosmic Thruster and the Zip Shot.

Reloading and firing

To reload the First Shot, place a dart into the blaster's muzzle; three more darts can be loaded into the dart storage accessory. Pull the priming lever back, so that it is flipped in an upwards position, to prime the blaster.

Pull the firing trigger to fire a dart.
