The Flash Flood is a medium-sized soaker with two nozzles. Its most notable feature, the "Flash Flood" nozzle, can be fired by pushing the silver slide on the top of the soaker back. This nozzle releases a powerful and short-ranged blast of water. It is pumped from the bottom of the blaster, unlike other very similar blasters such as the Arctic Shock and Aquapack Devastator.
It, alongside the Aquapack Devastator, was the first blaster to be released using CPS technology (elastic pressure) since 2002. Due to this, it is very powerful for a blaster of its size and works well in most water wars.
It is generally assumed that it was replaced by the Hydro Cannon, which features similar elastic pressure, nozzle ability, and capacity.
The Flash Flood has been released with the following color schemes:
- Orange, silver and blue
- Green, silver and black
- Blue, silver and black
- Blue, green and black
- Teal, silver and blue
- Red, silver and blue
- Chrome, silver and orange
