Blaster typeSingle-fire direct plunger dart blasterDartaggun
Ammunition typeTagger Micro Darts
FeaturesOne tactical rail
Firing rangeThis blaster has a firing range of about thirty-five to forty-five feet flat.[1]
ReliabilityThe Hyperfire jams rarely. Some have problems with darts popping out of the barrel for some apparent reason. This may involve the firing mechanism, as the darts always pop out on the "firing" barrel. It is also capable of shooting Streamline darts, but with reduced ranges. This blaster is very accurate when it is carefully aimed. When firing rapidly, it has average accuracy.
Rate of fireThis blaster fires about two darts every second.
CapacityThis blaster can hold up to ten darts at a time.
Final verdict and summary
Review PassHaving a powerful firing range and large capacity for a blaster its size, the Hyperfire proves to be useful in Nerf wars. There is definitely a reason it was the default Dart Tag blaster for five years.
