The Iron Strike Blaster is a single-fire promotional Nerf blaster that was released in 2010 to help promote the Iron Man 2 film.

It comes packaged with six Micro Darts.

Unlike the other two Iron Man dart blasters, this was not a recolored N-Strike blaster; instead, it is a recolored version of the Energon Blaster. The Iron Strike Blaster features four handles, including one concealed underneath another. The blaster is fired by pushing the first handle back, the only handle of four to have an actual use.

It holds two darts on top of the blaster via dart holders. It also features an integrated extendable barrel extension, as well as an integrated collapsible shoulder stock. The blaster operates on an overly-complicated gear system within the internals, which makes the blaster fire.

The Iron Strike Blaster is a re-released version of the 2003 Energon Blaster and the 2007 Optimus Prime Blaster.

Reloading and firing

To reload the Iron Strike Blaster, simply insert one dart into the front barrel of the blaster. Grip the blaster by its front handle and pull it backwards into the blaster until a loud click is heard. Return the handle to its original position.

Pull the trigger to fire a dart.

  • The Iron Strike Blaster features what appears to be an area to attach a detachable shoulder stock, although none are compatible and it is simply a part of the shell of the blaster.
  • The Micro Darts included with the blaster have a much longer suction tip than most Micro Darts.
