The Kenny Irwin Nerf '97 Thunderbird bank is a Nerf-branded bank in the shape of a NASCAR car that was released in 1997.

The bank is a 1/24 scale replica of the #27 Nerf and Hasbro-sponsored Nascar car that Kenny Irwin drove during the late 1990's in the NASCAR Winston cup. It features a green, purple, and black color scheme, as well as an iteration of the Nerf logo that was used between 1990 and 1997. It was a limited edition collector's toy; only 3,500 banks were made. As the name suggests, the Thunderbird also doubles as a bank for coin storage. The coins are inserted into the rear window of the car.

Unfortunately, very little information about this is known. This is due to a number of reasons, including the fact that it did not receive a mainstream release.
