Longshot CS-6
Blaster typeSingle-fire clip system direct plunger blasterLongshotCS6
Ammunition typeStreamline Darts
FeaturesFront blaster/barrel extension, detachable scope, integrated adjustable shoulder stock, integrated bipod, one tactical rail
Firing rangeBoasting the largest plunger of any N-Strike blaster, the Longshot can fire forty to fifty-five feet. Having the front blaster attached decreases ranges immensely.[1]
ReliabilityThis blaster mainly jams due to human error. Despite using an ammunition type that is widely regarded as being inaccurate, the Longshot is very accurate. This may be due to the blaster's direct plunger causing darts to be fired at higher speeds, or the long faux barrel.
Rate of fireAlthough this blaster is slow because of the complex internals, bolt action and lack of slam-fire, this blaster will fire reliably up to two darts a second.
CapacityThe Longshot holds up to six darts with its included six dart clip. Another clip (not included) can be stored in its integrated stock.
Final verdict and summary
Review PassAn older but high performance N-Strike blaster, the Longshot performs best at long-range accuracy where it has superior ranges than most clip system blasters. The Longshot is still a highly recommended and praised blaster in the Nerf community.
