The Longshot front blaster is a small single-fire Nerf blaster that was released in 2006 under the N-Strike series.

It comes packaged with the Longshot CS-6. It cannot be purchased separately.

Unlike the Longshot, the LSFB is a reverse plunger blaster.

It is notable in that it is the only barrel extension that doubles as a blaster. Most other barrel extensions feature tactical rails in various places and offer nothing more than accuracy. This and the Spectre barrel extension are the only barrel extensions to not have tactical rails.

Often when modifying a Longshot, modders may integrate the LSFB under it, where the bipods are normally located.

Due to this blaster's very small prime, it has low stock ranges.

The LSFB was not re-included with the release of the 2014 Zombie Strike Longshot CS-12, an updated variation of the Longshot CS-6. It is unknown why it was not included; a similar situation occurred when the tactical ammunition storage was removed in the Barrel Break IX-2's N-Strike Elite re-release.

A logical explanation as to why the front blaster was removed could be because of the difficulty of getting the front blaster's range up to seventy-five feet to match most modern blasters.

Color schemes

The LSFB has been released with the following color schemes:

  • N-Strike (yellow, black, gray, and orange)
  • Original/Midnight (blue, yellow, black, gray, and orange)
  • Red Strike (red, black, gray, and orange)
  • Elite Repaint (blue, white, black, gray, and orange)

Reloading and firing

To reload the Longshot front blaster, put a single dart into the muzzle of the blaster. Pull back the priming mechanism to prime the blaster.

Pull the trigger to fire a dart.
