Badge-Nerf

The Longshot front blaster is a Nerf blaster and barrel extension that was released in 2006 under the N-Strike series.

It comes packaged with the Longshot CS-6 (as well as the Elite Repaint version) and cannot be purchased separately.

Details

The LongShot front blaster is a single-fire blaster that, unlike the Longshot, is a reverse plunger blaster. It does not feature any tactical rails which is unusual for a barrel extension. Often when modifying a Longshot, modders may integrate the Longshot front blaster under it, where the bipods are normally located.

Due to this blaster's very small prime, it has low stock ranges.

History

The Longshot front blaster was not re-included with the release of the 2014 Zombie Strike Longshot CS-12, an updated variation of the Longshot CS-6. It is unknown why it was not included; a similar situation occurred when the Ammo Rail was removed from the Barrel Break IX-2's Elite Repaint re-release.

A logical explanation as to why the front blaster was removed could be because of the difficulty of getting the front blaster's range up to seventy-five feet to match most modern blasters.

Color schemes

The LSFB has been released with the following color schemes:

Reloading and firing

To reload the Longshot front blaster, put a single dart into the muzzle of the blaster. Pull back the priming mechanism to prime the blaster.

Pull the trigger to fire a dart.
