History
Edit
First introduced in 1992, it was the first true dart type. This dart type was longer and slightly bigger in diameter than a typical Micro Dart. The blasters that fired these darts were very popular in the 1990s and the early 2000s.
It was last used in 1998. The Mega Dart is now a discontinued dart type and cannot be purchased in stores.
Its successor was the Screamin' Mega Dart, which was used from 1999 until 2007.
Original Mega Darts, along with their whistling counterparts, will be officially re-released and succeded in Fall 2013 with the release of Elite Mega Darts.
