The Missilestorm is a single-fire Nerf blaster that was released in 1992 under the Original Nerf series.
It comes packaged with four missiles.
Details
It is a rapid-fire missile blaster that operates by simply pushing and pulling the handle. The handle extends back, and once pushed forward, the blaster fires. It is, alongside the Arrow Strike, the only missile blaster to use a turret. The blaster is a counterpart to the Arrowstorm although it is much smaller and uses a different type of ammunition.
The missiles are attached onto the four posts at the front of the blaster. Once the handle has been extended, the barrel automatically rotates. Although the blaster is intended to fire missiles, it can also fire Mega Darts.[1]
Reloading and firing
To reload the Missilestorm, simply insert four missiles onto the front turret of the blaster. Pull the priming handle back until it cannot extend back any further to prime the blaster.
Sharply and quickly push the priming handle forward to fire a missile.
Trivia
- Alongside the NB-1 Missile Blaster, it is the first blaster to fire missiles.
- This was the first "-storm" blaster, followed by the 1993 Arrowstorm and 1994 Rocketstorm.
