The Power Webs Spider Strike Crossbow is a single-fire Nerf blaster that was released in 2013 to help promote the TV series Ultimate Spider-Man.
It comes packaged with three Micro Darts and instructions.
Details
The Power Webs Spider Strike Crossbow resembles a miniature crossbow and mounts to the user's wrist for use. The bow arms are made of a stretchy plastic resembling webs. The blaster lacks a trigger and is entirely pull-and-release operated. The darts are slightly different from regular Micro Darts and similar to the darts included with the Iron Strike Blaster. It advertises a range of up to twenty feet.
The included Micro Darts are advertised as "web darts". It is the first blaster released since the introduction of the N-Strike Elite line to use Micro Darts. The blaster features storage for two darts on the handlebar beneath the blaster, on opposite sides.
History
This blaster was first revealed in January of 2013, and made its first public appearance at the 2013 Toy Fair.
Reloading and firing
To reload the Power Webs Spider Strike Crossbow, simply insert one dart into the front barrel of the blaster. Pull back the priming mechanism until it cannot be extended back any further.
Release the priming mechanism to fire a dart.
