It comes packaged with ten Long Distance Darts.
Details
The Protector is a blaster that uses a variation of slam fire to fire darts. Its front barrels hold up to ten darts. It features a false, non-functioning firing trigger, meaning that the blaster is slam fire only. This tends to lead to inaccuracy.
Color schemes
The Protector has been released with the following color schemes:
- Standard (gray, blue, and orange)
- Alternate (light blue, gray, and orange; packaged in the Protector 2-Pack)
- Blue variant (blue, yellow, and orange)
Reloading and firing
To reload the Protector, insert ten darts into the front turret of the blaster. Extend the handle backwards fully to ready the blaster.
Quickly and sharply push the handle forwards to fire a dart.
Trivia
- It may be a spiritual successor to the Air Tek 8, as both are slam fire only blasters that feature a fixed turret.
