The RADS 12 is a Buzz Bee blaster that was released in 2011 under the Air Blasters series.
It comes packaged with twelve Micro Darts.
Details
The RADS 12 features four turrets that hold three darts each. All four turrets are mounted on a complicated rotating mechanism which uses multiple gears to rotate the 4 barrel clusters a hundred and eighty degrees when the blaster is primed. When the blaster is primed, the mechanism rotates counterclockwise; the blaster can be primed multiple times to continue rotating the turrets.
History
It was re-released under the Air Warriors series.
This blaster is sold under the Ruff Stuff Air Blasters line in Finland.
Color schemes
The RADS 12 has been released in the following color schemes:
- Green, orange and lime
- White, red and grey (Air Zone)
Reloading and firing
To reload the RADS 12, place up to twelve darts in the blaster: three darts for each of the four barrel clusters. Pull back the top lever to prime and rotate the blaster.
Pull the trigger to fire a dart.
Trivia
- The loading mechanism can be difficult to use for Nerfers with smaller hands.
- "RADS" is an abbreviation for "Rapid Advance Dart System".
