Sonic Recon CS-6
Blaster typeSingle fire clip system reverse plunger dart blasterNerf Sonic Series N-Strike Recon - Blaster
Ammunition typeStreamline Darts
FeaturesPackaged barrel extension, packaged shoulder stock, packaged flip-up sight, four tactical rails, three sling points
Firing rangeThis blaster has an average range of about twenty-five to thirty-five feet flat; it has slightly better ranges than the original Recon CS-6.[citation needed] If good darts are used and the blaster is angled, it can reach ranges of thirty to forty feet.
ReliabilityIf the blaster is primed too fast or used with already jammed and shredded darts it will jam frequently just like the original Recon. It is recommended to replace the darts every month for the best blaster performance.
This blaster is quite inaccurate because of its reverse plunger system and the Streamline Darts it comes packaged with. However, using the barrel extension along with Elite Darts or homemade Stefans will provide an increase in accuracy.
Rate of fireThis blaster shoots on average about one dart a second. If primed very quickly, it can fire up to two darts a second. However, this makes the blaster jam more frequently.
CapacityThis blaster can hold up to six darts in the six dart clip it comes packaged with. An extra six dart clip can be held in the stock provided, totaling at a capacity of twelve darts.
Final verdict and summary
Review PassThe Sonic Recon CS-6 is a slight improvement over its original counterpart.
