Badge-Nerf

The Rhino-Fire is a Nerf blaster that was released on November 14, 2014[3] under the N-Strike Elite series. It requires six "D" batteries to operate.

It comes packaged with a tri-pod, two twenty-five dart drums, fifty Elite Darts, and instructions.

Details

The Rhino-Fire is a clip system blaster that features the ability to use two clips or drums at a time. It has two barrels which alternately fire. The barrels also collapse one after another when firing.

It features two tactical rails on top of the blaster, and one tactical rail on each of the magwells. It also has two strap points. It will not work with only one drum and/or clip inserted. It is advertising a firing range of up to ninety feet.[2][1]

History

It may be intended as a spiritual successor to the Vulcan EBF-25 as both blasters feature tripods and high dart capacity.[4]

This was a Wal-Mart exclusive during the 2014 holiday season in the United States.[2]

Blaster sets

A Double Your Darts value pack was released for the Rhino-Fire in Winter 2015, packaged with two extra twenty-five dart drums and fifty extra darts. The Rhino-Fire included in this pack is the blue variant; this is the only way to obtain the blue Rhino-Fire. This blaster set is exclusive to Costco Wholesale stores in the United States.[citation needed]

Trivia

  • It is one of the few Nerf blasters that can hold more than one clip at a time. The others being the Double Dealer which can hold two clips, and the Hail-Fire, which can hold eight clips.
  • It is one of the most expensive Nerf products ever released.
    • The only product more expensive is the TerraScout.
  • Some users have noted that the packaged drums are not as reliable as other twenty-five dart drums, such as those in the Rampage.

    • The entire reason that they make new blasters is to be better then the old ones, so comparing these to is a really unfair comparison.
    • Rhino-fire for capacity and ranges, but I would like semi-auto instead of full auto on the Rhino, and also yes someone should do voltage mod...
