The Ripchain is a chain-fed blaster that features slam fire. It shares many similarities with older chain-fed blasters, as the chain does not have a storage area of any kind and thus freely rotates and flexes. There is one tactical rail located on the top, and several sling mounts on the front and back of the blaster.
It was originally revealed at the 2018 New York Toy Fair.
Reloading and firing
To reload the Ripchain, load twenty-five darts into the chain. Open the door and put the chain in the blaster. Cycle the pump back and forth to prime the blaster.
To slam fire, hold down the firing trigger and repeatedly prime the blaster.
- It is the first Nerf brand blaster since the Vulcan EBF-25 to be chain/belt-fed.
- It could be considered the spiritual successor to the Cyber Stryke Gear RotoTrack, Max Force Razorbeast, and Nerf Action Chainblazer.
- The Ripchain may have a tendency to jam when fired quickly, as the weight of the belt could bog down the rotation mechanism.
