The Robo Power Optimus Prime Cyber Blaster is a promotional blaster that was released in July of 2011 to promote the Transformers: Dark of the Moon film. It requires two "AA" batteries to operate its sound effects.
It comes packaged with ten blue darts that resemble Whistler Darts.
Details
The Robo Power Optimus Prime Cyber Blaster is a ten-shot blaster that automatically rotates its turret upon cocking the blaster. When the trigger is pulled, it lights up and makes sounds. The lights emanate from the yellow spot in the center of the blaster. The effects can be turned off or on.[3]
The logo of the Autobots can be seen in the center of the blaster; lights emit from it when in use.
History
It would appear to operate in a similar manner to the Hyperfire, as it is mainly a re-shelling of it. This is evident due to the same turret and cocking mechanism.[3]
This blaster was first unveiled at the 2011 Toy Fair. It was launched in July of 2011.[1]
Reloading and firing
To reload the Robo Power Optimus Prime Cyber Blaster, load up to ten darts into the blaster's turret. The blaster is then primed by pulling back on the priming mechanism on top of the blaster.
To fire a dart, pull back the trigger.
