For the original Tek 4, see Tek 4.

The Rogue (known in some countries as the Bandit, later versions known as the Tek 4) is a Buzz Bee dart blaster that was released in 2012 under the Air Warriors series.

It comes packaged with four Micro Darts.

Details

The Rogue is essentially a mix of the Tek 4 and the Tek 6; it has the cocking mechanism of a Tek 6, as well as the turret of the Tek 4. This blaster does not feature an automatically-rotating turret, although it does feature two hand rests; the priming handle, and directly beneath the priming handle of the blaster. The hand rest underneath the blaster is the only part of the blaster to be yellow (on the regular variant), and does not serve any purpose.

It was the smallest blaster to be released in 2012 under the Air Warriors line. Upon introduction, however, the blaster received positive critical reception.[1] Interestingly, the blaster features what appears to be a switch that normally would turn on or off special features on electronic blasters. Despite this, the switch does not move, and is simply part of the shell's design.

History

Despite being introduced under the Air Warriors line, it is still sold in some countries around the world as an Air Blasters product.

The blaster was re-released under the Air Zone line with no changes to performance in 2012.

In 2014, the blaster was renamed the Tek 4, despite that name being on an older blaster.

Color schemes

The Rogue has been released in the following color schemes:

  • Green, lime and yellow
  • Red, black and yellow (Air Zone)
  • White, black and yellow (Air Zone)

Reloading and firing

To reload the Rogue, load up to four darts into the turret of the blaster.

To prime the blaster, pull back on the priming mechanism until it cannot be pulled back any further, and release. Pull the back firing trigger to a fire dart.

Rotate the barrel manually and repeat the process for the three remaining shots.
