Scout IX-3
Blaster typeSingle-fire reverse plunger dart blasterScout
Ammunition typeMicro Darts/Whistler Darts
FeaturesIntegrated two dart storage, firing button for use with the Unity Power System, one tactical rail, one strap point
Scoring
Firing rangeThe Scout reaches ranges of up to thirty feet.[1]
ReliabilityIt is impossible for the Scout IX-3 to jam, although this blaster can have some problems with the secret button for use with the Unity Power System. It hits its target most of the time. The secret button sometimes results in the blaster depriming itself shortly after cocking. It is moderately accurate.[2]
Rate of fireOne dart can be fired about every two seconds.
CapacityIt holds three darts, one dart in firing position and two others in storage holes under the barrel.
Final verdict and summary
Review PassThe Scout IX-3 is a simple blaster. It performs amazing in range and accuracy, for being a single-shot blaster. Its downsides are its slow rate of fire and capacity. It is a great side-arm.
