The Scravenger is a Nerf blaster that was released in fall of 2018 under the Survival System sub-series.

Included contents[]

Details[]

The Scravenger is a lever-action clip system blaster. It features a selector switch which allows the blaster to be switched between two firing modes: standard single-fire and slam fire; the Scravenger cannot be slam fired without it being set to do so.[2]

It is compatible with detachable shoulder stocks and barrel extensions. Unlike other blasters, the stock attachment point is upside down to accommodate its grip. It has an integrated carry handle, with its jam door located underneath it.

It features two tactical rails: one on the carry handle and one just below the blaster's muzzle.

Official description[]

History[]

The Scravenger was officially announced on January 29, 2018, alongside the Evader.[1]

Trivia[]

  • The Scravenger's carry handle and jam door location is very reminiscent of the 2006 N-Strike Longshot CS-6.
  • If the blaster is primed and the switch is set to slam fire mode, the blaster will fire instantly, since the slam fire switch will engage the plunger's catch.
  • It is the first blaster to have a stock attachment point that is upside down. This is due the position of the stock attachment point being lower than the barrel so the attached stock needs to be upside down to be usable.
  • The Scravenger's name is most likely a portmanteau of the words "scavenger" and "scrap".
