The SharpFire is a Nerf blaster that was released in spring of 2015 under the N-Strike series.

Included contents[]

Details[]

The SharpFire is a breech-loaded, single-fire blaster. It is advertised as a "6-in-1 convertible blaster", due to its packaged accessories.

The included shoulder stock is attached by inserting it into two holes built into the blaster's grip. A hole on the back is used for equipping it as a shoulder stock, and a hole on the front is used for equipping it as a holster. With its shoulder stock attached, six extra darts can be stored for quick reloading. The shoulder stock is removed by pressing a release button, located on the bottom of the grip.

It features two sling points near the front of the blaster: one on the removable barrel extension and one on the blaster itself.

Though the SharpFire has a non-orange trigger, this does not indicate weakened performance, as all SharpFire blasters include it. This version was released worldwide.

Official description[]

History[]

The SharpFire was re-released in 2016 as the SharpFire Delta, sans barrel extension and shoulder stock. In fall of the same year, the SharpFire was re-categorized under the N-Strike Elite line along with new box art.

The SharpFire was re-released again in 2021 under the Star Wars line as The Mandalorian Blaster, with new paint and no shoulder stock.

Modification[]

The SharpFire is commonly given a brass barrel and breech replacement; an additional layer of brass in the barrel will create an air-tight seal, thus improving performance vastly.

Trivia[]

  • On some stock SharpFire blasters, the detachable stock, when holstered, can be removed without using the release button. The release button is automatically pushed up when the detachable stock is attached on the front in some cases, allowing a simple stock removal, and the inability to use the release button when the stock is holstered.
  • Despite advertising having only six different combinations, the SharpFire actually has eight.
  • With the stock removed and the barrel attached, the SharpFire is somewhat reminiscent of the w:c:nintendo:Nintendo NES Zapper accessory.
  • The SharpFire is marked with a copyright of 2013, while the blaster was released in 2015. This is strange considering blasters are usually copyright marked a year before their release date.
