Blaster typeSingle-fire direct plunger dart blasterGOPR1304
Ammunition typeSharpshooter Darts
FeaturesIntegrated dart storage
Firing rangeThe Sharpshooter has an angled firing range of about thirty-six feet.[1][2]
ReliabilityThis blaster could not jam. However, loading the blaster was a bit tricky, as darts had to fit over a peg in the center of the muzzle.[3] Even from distances, this blaster can hit the corresponding target almost every time.
Rate of fireDue to reloading the blaster after firing and the difficulty of reloading, it has a very slow rate of fire of around one shot every three seconds.
CapacityOnly three darts can be held in this blaster; one dart is held in the muzzle and the other two are placed in a dart holder on top of the blaster.
Final verdict and summary
Review PassThe Sharpshooter was an astounding success at the time and a clear pointer to the future for Nerf. It has since been replaced by more modern blasters, many of which are inspired by the success of the Sharpshooter.
