Blaster typeSingle-fire direct plunger dart blasterSlingfire
Ammunition typeZombie Strike Dart
FeaturesLever action priming, single tactical rail, integrated shoulder stock, integrated iron sights
Firing rangeThe SlingFire can fire around thirty-eight to forty feet flat, and around sixty to seventy-five feet when angled.
ReliabilityThis blaster is reliable for the most part and typically jams due to user error. The lever may jam if not is not pushed fully forward.[1] The lever is also rather small, making this blaster difficult to use with older Nerfers. This blaster is not particularly accurate mainly due to how close the clip is to the muzzle of the blaster.
Rate of fireThe SlingFire has a rate of fire of up to one dart a second, depending on how fast the user can utilize the priming lever.
CapacityThis blaster holds up to six darts in its included clip.
Final verdict and summary
Review FailWhile the SlingFire's lever-action is counter-intuitive at first, the blaster can perform decent if one knows how to operate it. Although it is advertised to be a fast-firing blaster for Humans Vs. Zombies-esque rounds, the SlingFire is not quick enough nor powerful enough to be used as an effective primary. The small handle and difficulty of operating it result in a blaster that could have been designed better.
