Details[]
The SlingStrike is a string-powered slingshot-style blaster that lacks a firing trigger. There are two dart holders, one on either side of the blaster.
The blaster features a mechanical lock that prevents the cord from being pulled back if no dart is loaded.
The grip and bow arms are a large, separate piece that comes disassembled in the box, for packaging purposes.

---|
Catapult darts through the air with the first-ever Nerf dart-firing slingshot! The SlingStrike blaster comes with 2 Elite Darts that you can store on its arms. Load it with a dart and pull back the string to fire! You’ll be a super-fast dart-slinger with the SlingStrike blaster! |
History[]
Prototype renders of the SlingStrike were given the name Sling Shock.
Modification[]
The SlingStrike's locking mechanism can be removed, allowing the user to pull back the cord freely without having a dart loaded. The cord itself can be changed out with a stronger version, though it can be difficult to find a proper replacement for it.
It is advised to not remove the dart post, as without it, darts will not easily align with the striking piece on the cord during firing and will either fail to fire or fishtail out.
Trivia[]
- It is the N-Strike counterpart to the Rebelle Secrets & Spies Slingback.
