It was only recently announced, and so far is only released in Singapore, I believe.

I like my Stampede, especially with the Rampage magazine, but I think an argument can be made for the Swarmfire, too.

P.S., my favorite automatic blaster is still the Powerclip... it's not the best, but it's my favorite.

If you look at the unboxing video and pics that have been posted all around today, you'll see that the Elite Spectre is NOT just a repaint. It is a full fledged Elite makeover. It even has a different shell design to accomodate the direct plunger system.

Darts are still loaded in the muzzle, it simply has three barrels. That has nothing to do with the standard definitions of the number codes anyway. EX series blasters have an external priming handle (like the Nite Finder and Jolt, among others), and the number says how many darts the blaster holds at a time. The priming mechanism on the Triad is the same as on the Jolt (just slightly bigger), and it holds three darts at once, thus it's number code, if it had one, would certainly be EX-3.
