The SplitFire is a Nerf blaster that was released in 1999 under the Airjet Power Plus series.
It comes packaged with two Mega Darts and two Screamin' Mega Darts.
Details
The SplitFire is an air-powered blaster that fires Mega Darts, the second to last non-promotional blaster to do so. Like other Airjet Power Plus blasters, half of its shell is clear. A single dart holder is located on both the right and left side of the blaster.
It features two dart barrels and a two-step trigger that allows the user to fire either one or two darts at a time. The right barrel will fire first when the trigger is pulled.
History
Judging from a number of sources, the blaster was likely to have had a release in December of 1999.[3][4]
Reloading and firing
To reload the SplitFire, place up to two darts in the front barrels of the blaster. Pump the blaster five to six times to fully prime the blaster.[5]
Pull the trigger halfway to fire a single dart or all the way to fire both. The blaster does not need to be pumped again after firing a single dart.
