For information on the blaster's standard features, see Strongarm (N-Strike Elite).
It comes packaged with six Elite Darts.
As its name suggests, the Elite XD Strongarm features supposedly improved "Elite XD" internals, which boosts its firing power.
It advertises a firing range of up to ninety feet in the US (compared to the original Elite version's seventy-five feet), or twenty-seven meters (compared to the original Elite version's twenty meters). Despite that, and like other re-released Elite XD blasters, it features the same performance as its original counterpart.
The blaster was first seen at Toy Fair 2014 with the rest of the Elite XD line.
Reloading and firing
To reload the Strongarm, drop the cylinder by pushing the turret's release button located on the left side of the blaster. Load up to six darts into the cylinder, then move the cylinder back up into the blaster's shell. Alternately, darts may be front-loaded directly without releasing the cylinder, though access is tighter and slightly slower.
To prime the blaster, pull the slide back and let it return to its original position. Pull the trigger to fire a dart. To slam fire, hold down the trigger and continuously prime the blaster.
This blaster works with all Micro Dart and clip system dart types, except Streamline Darts. It cannot use Streamline Darts without modification because of their longer rubber post; they will not fit all the way in.
