It cannot be purchased in retail stores. The only way to obtain it is through second-hand websites and stores.
It comes packaged with eight SuperMAXX Darts.
It is an air pressure blaster that features an automatically rotating turret. The blaster also features a built-in carrying handle on the top of the "air tank". The yellow version, unlike the other two versions of the SuperMAXX 3000, fires SuperMAXX Darts. It is also easier to use for young Nerfers. Because of this, the yellow version is known to be the superior version of the SuperMAXX 3000.
The blaster was initially released by Larami in 1996 as the SuperMAXX Xtreme SuperMAXX 2500. The name was changed to the SuperMAXX 3000 once it was moved over to the Nerf lineup. The performance of the SuperMAXX 3000 variant is said to be inferior when compared to the original 2500 model. It was the first of three blasters to have the SuperMAXX 3000 name.
Reloading and firing
To reload the SuperMAXX 3000, place up to eight darts in the front turret. Pump the blaster six times to fully prime the blaster.
Pull the trigger to fire a dart.
- Its barrel functions similar to the Spectre REV-5's, as it revolves upon priming the blaster.
