Attempting to rectify my mistakes[]

For years, I've held adamant that the Nerf Ball had been released in 1970, following its 1969 pitch/dev cycle. But now, looking at multiple news outlets for my big "fix up all references on the wiki" project, I'm thinking that I may have been very, very wrong.

I think my stubbornness may have been attributed to other mistakes that the news and your average website makes about Nerf in general, mostly that NERF is an acronym, because everyone makes this claim despite it being not the case whatsoever, from the creator's mouth.

Following this large string of updates to articles, and after I fix the Buzz Bee external links (since the site was recently updated), I'm interested in filling out what we're missing in terms of vintage, classic Nerf - things like Nerf Sports products and the various, miscellaneous things they produced in the 70s.

I'm not sure what I'm really trying to say here, but to admit the mistake that's been made for years on my part. I like transparency as far as administration/staff teams go online, so this is just me doing my part to say: "oops".
