differenceEdit

so exactly what difference is there besides internals and range? seems like a duplicate article. Nerfmaster8 (talk) 03:50, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, this is confusing. Ninja of Nerf (talk) 06:47, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

We split articles for anything with a really noticeable change in range. The Jolt and whatnot don't need them because the only reason they get slightly higher ranges is because of the Elite Darts. We did this same thing for the Elite Rayven, so we need to do the same for the Elite Spectre. Jet [TalkContributions] 19:17, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

i really am not starting to understand what point you are trying to make here. originally we planned to move all reviews onto one page which would in turn eliminate the need for these "filler" articles that have no purpose. unless you can point out anything different besides the internals and range, there is no need for duplicate articles. take a look at nerfipedia on how they do reviews, its all on one page-its long but its more effective. again the articles serve no purpose if it only contains the same information besides release dates.

those minor differences can be easily mentioned in the NS articles.Nerfmaster8 (talk) 03:12, June 9, 2013 (UTC)

Direct or reverse plunger? Edit

The main Wiki article for the Spectre says "direct plunger," but the review page says "reverse plunger." Which is correct?

Also, I got a used NSE Spectre recently and wonder why it seems to hang-fire quite frequently on Elite darts. That is, the dart gets stuck halfway out the cylinder and jams up the blaster. It's a tricky and slow thing to pry the dart backwards so that the cylinder can finally be popped out. Could this just be unique to my own unit, or this a design fault which plagues most units?

EDIT: I must have just fluked out on bad darts. With twelve other Elite darts, I was able to get much better reliability and range similar to my old Maverick.
