    • I personally think that if you want pink blasters and darts, you should just paint darts and blasters pink. The people who want them don't deserve a whole line for being lazy and not painting the blasters and darts pink. If I wanted a blaster and darts in, say, navy blue, I would buy a Speedload Six, take it apart, paint the parts that are currently yellow navy blue, paint the darts blue, and put it back together. They need to get punished by having to get off their sofa and working to make the stuff pink. WOW, I pretty much just wrote a whole essay...

        Loading editor
    • this line is totally ruining the spirt of nerf and should be boycoted at all costs

        Loading editor
    • I don't exactly see how it's "ruining the spirit of Nerf". In fact, some of the stuff in the Rebelle line is kind of neat (like the hammer-action revolver). It may be gimmicky and definitely has a young female audience in mind, but I mean, we're talking about toys here... when aren't toys gimmicky?

Personally I wouldn't get any of the Rebelle blasters, but I know a lot of people in the modding community that are interested in them.

        Loading editor
    • Not so sure yet haven't seen a good picture of one of them but Stealth 2-Pack? That's just AMUSING for a ninja like me. What is it, two Rebelle Reflexes?

        Loading editor
    • I'm not too interested in the Rebelle series, but that's because I'm a boy. As for the painting stuff, I wouldn't want to do that, 'cause I would just screw it up. My sister has expressed some interest in the series, especially in the bow-like blasters.

    • this sucks a lot

1.its supposed to be for my friends b-day

        Loading editor
    • all bow blasters do is fire slow as hell and get you shot nerf is manly for guys any way for moding they will probably have a shell like dart tag blasters

        Loading editor
    • I still fail to see why the Rebelle line being so "feminine and girly" is so bad.

        Loading editor
    • i think that if girls want girly blasters then they can just paint them and the darts, i think nerf should use there production time one a powerful nerf elite sniper rifle or small semi auto pistols

        Loading editor
    • Eh, it's still a bit rubbish to me - it had better not take over all the other series. Some blaster names are actually quite decent - I like the name of the Heartbreaker bow. Despite this, to me, it's just like offbrand blasters really.

        Loading editor
    • yes i think that nerf should forget about rebelle and foucs on n strike elite and vortex

        Loading editor
    • Stupid blasters: deploy, barrel break, the vast majority of buzz bee blasters (except the panther, range master, bbbb, and from my experience the tek 6) big bad bow, titan (unless you mod yours) vulcan if you don't work it properly (it's fantastic when everything is lined up properly and has excellent modding potential) reactor, and a lot more.

        Loading editor
    • i mostly agree with u but u missed the secret stirke as-1

        Loading editor
    • Forgot about that one. At the time of its release it was the only tiny blaster, so it was the best you had, but it's been superseded by the jolt.

        Loading editor
    • the hornet is also a stupid gun that leaks

        Loading editor
    • When it works it works well, but it doesn't usually work.

        Loading editor
    • the same with all air system guns

        Loading editor
    • Why are the darts called 'Collectible Darts?' That could mean anything.

        Loading editor
    • because they want people to buy the guns just for the darts

        Loading editor
    • i think that the deploy & barrel break not a stupid blaster

        Loading editor
    • Deploy gets ranges comparable to just throwing the dart, and it jams more, and the barrel break has a super slow rate of fire an has sub par ranges.

        Loading editor
    • exactly the deploy sucks, the break barrel is good for suprise attacks

        Loading editor
    • Nerf isn't just opening up a market to females. If you're a guy, and you grew up with sisters, there wasn't often much opportunity to have/use a Nerf gun. Rebelle will level the field in that regard, now not only can they shoot back, they might want to.

However, all this nonsense about Nerf being macho and for men... they come in ridiculous colors. Being a man isn't about shooting darts... thats good fun anyone can enjoy. If you want to be a man, you gotta make your own beef jerky, go on Riverboat gambling trips, drink moonshine, and grow some facial hair.

Let's face it, this isn't really about Nerf being less manly or more girly. It's more about tricking women into less feminine activities with pretty colors. Since Nerf is pretty much about indoctrination into a lifetime interest in firearms we could probably blame this on the US Military finally allowing women to take front-line combat roles. The Pentagon probably funded the whole design of the Rebelle line... and none of you have to worry one tick about Nerf being distracted (Financially or intellectually) from making toys that shoot bits of foam in the fruity colors YOU prefer.

    • Rebble seems like Nerfs way of capatalizing off the Hungergames. But I like the idea of bows that shoot darts. Plus it get elite ranges so if you want elite guns so much just paint it.

My modded bbb is great so i dont need any oh these. Even though I like the pull back and relese idea but ill just mod the blazin bow for that.

Ah, I know why now. Rebelle had better not take over N-Strike Elite.

I'm a pretty paranoid person... but that's bordering on delusional. Either you believe that pink is actually highly popular amoung guys... or believe girls stand a very good chance of literally taking Nerf "away from boys" and "Making it thiers". Do you think Hasbro is willing to say "no thank you" to your money? Are they willing to ignore the bottom line for your nightmare fantasy world?

You all behave like Nerf's designed capabilities are a limited resource... but think about it. Nerf is only limited by thier cash flow. First of all, the N-strike Elite line....is pretty much the Elite line with retooled innards. They threw in a few new unique things... but clearly they saved themselves alot of money on the design front. Then, they made Rebelle to penetrate a new market... it's already clear they intend to use the designs of the Rebelle guns to offer anyone who doesn't like laser pink other options. Nerf isn't going to flood thier own market anymore than they already have. The amount of offerings they have is massive. (11 N-Strike Elite guns... so FAR... 8 Vortex guns we are aware of...) Clearly, if and when they release speculated lines... those lines will compete with existing lines. Rebelle might... just a little, but for the most part it opens up alot of opportunities. The more money they make, the more they have to spend on... designing improvements and new styles of toy guns.

Honestly, is this whole thing some sort of inside joke? Are you guys pretending to be paranoid and ignorant? Next thing you know, Nerf will design a set of guns that are themed after demons... and you guys will insist that Nerf guns are only for "God-fearing souls" and that you're concerned that Nerf is being distracted from making light-up whistling basketballs every time they design a new "Lucifer Launcher", "Balial Blaster", or "Multi-shootin' Mephisto"

    • wow that was long

        Loading editor
    • Too long. And so, a LAME series' blasters have to match Elite series ranges, don't they?

In fact, they probably did the Elite range thing because they KNEW it would be discontinued in about a week (ha ha!) if they didn't.

Why would you give it kudos if you don't agree with what they're saying?

This topic's getting a little out of hand with the absolute hate for the Rebelle series. I personally don't like how it's marketed, but I don't see why there's hate for it just because it's "feminine and girly, how DARE Nerf and Hasbro entrude on our manly toy guns".

If it continues with no actual discussion, I might just have to close the thread.

    • Still, it takes up Nerf shelf space.

    • I don't mind it so much. From what I've seen of the Zombie Strike Hammershot, Rebelle and Zombie Strike will share the same molds (to a degree). The 5 dart Rebelle revolver ("Wildshot") would look good with a paint job I reckon, wold be easy to make it look steam-punk, and for my daughter (who LOVES pink stuff), I think this would be a great gateway brand for her (before she gets into Elite).

What nay-sayers need to understand is, if there is a market for it, and the company believes the investment will pay off, they will venture into that market. I'm sure there are many girly Nerfers out there that wish there were a more femine Nerf line up.

Could yo BE any more incorrect? Rebelle isn't rewarding Nerfettes for being lazy, it's doing quite the opposite. Ever since 1990, have you noticed something about all Nerf products? Centered around male Nerfers. Commercials, designs, packaging, all. Now, after  23 years in the spotlight, you males say we shouldn't step down and let the Nerfettes have some time in the spotlight? Besides, the Rebelle blasters are really cool - the Heartbreaker uniquely has the ability to fire Elite - like darts rather than arrows without any modification, the Crossbow has a six dart revolving chamber for prolonged use, and the Wildshot has even made inspiration for another upcoming Nerf blaster! All us guys have to do is grab a Rebelle and paint it Elite or Vortex colored. So sir, your statement idiotic. Please open your eyes as I serve you your fresh failcake.

I never saw nerf as a girl thing, and the fact that they painted their guns with pruple wings so girls would reject them and go to the Barbie aisle anyway makes a total facepalm in the market of Nerf.

We boys are waiting for a better line of guns, Hasbro! not so our little sisters can annoy us in battle.

Wow, ASDFLover got it right. I don't know why you can't agree man. THE ONLY REASON NERF IS CENTERED AROUND MALES IS BECAUSE BOYS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT LIKE THEM. If the girls are so whiny that they want their bows and guns painted in a girl color, then they shouldn't be rewarded. TO THE WOMEN: SUCK IT UP AND PLAY WITH NERF ORANGE AND BLUE, OK?

        Loading editor
    • 1 in 10 people paint their blaster as far as my nerf club. When you paint it has a chance of breaking it or messing up the trigger. Also it's seen as a boyish thing when it has no girl colors. So what you think that a girl will think, oh it's worth it to paint my blaster and buy the paint for it even though none of my friends will play it with me for maby forever and I will seem somewhat gayish (NOT SAYING YOU ARE). But when nerf says it's ok and shows confidence that girls will buy it then they could invite their friends to play it without having fear of attack. Also in my homeschool group every girl that plays takes a sword rather than a gun because swords have no reason to be any other color.

Trufax ^ The Rebelle Wildshot and ZombieStrike Hammershot appear to be very similar.  Why not cater to different markets with different blaster lines? There's certainly a market for HvZ themed blasters, and might be one for girl themed blasters, too.

I think if they release an Elite N-Strike version of the Hammershot/Wildshot, most of us will want one.  Some of us might just re-paint the first one that comes out to suit us, but not everybody wants a repainted blaster.

Perhaps these additional lines will provide additional revenue to further Elite Mega development, rather than just take time away from it.

the reason we are talking about the Nerf Mega Centurion is this is the stuff nerf should be focusing on insted of rebelle

      How I read this:

blah blah blah blah blah blahblah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Who else gave this kudos just 'cause you didn't bother reading it?

They can have fun in their own girly way. If they bring back the Bklast-a-ball, it would cut down Rebelle too.

Am I the only one who thinks "Blast-a-Ball" sounds emasculating?

    • I'm going to have to shut down this thread if you guys continue your discussion this way. If you actually have complaints about the Rebelle series, go for it. But if you're going to just complain how it's "oh so girly, girls are dumb, etc", then I think I might have to close this thread because it's getting pretty gross to look at.

I really don't see how complaining about a female presence and completely degrading said female presence in Nerf is an opposition.

I was thinking, "Just because you're a girl". But I'm not going down that route. I don't want anyone else to go down that route either.

I see it is a very long discussion, but again, that means I could just go round closing all threads and comments on Nerfipedia. I don't, cause I'm a good admin. Well it's OK for us to express our opinions, but not 'girls are stupid'. That's not on. We've had a lot of spam/vandalism here too, but it should remain.

I can understand wanting to encourage discussion. In fact, I'd love to have a good discussion here about Rebelle. Instead, what I'm seeing is that the discussion keeps going back to the same thing over and over. As a good admin, I think I know when it's best to step in and try and keep things from getting too messy and heated.

If you all would like to continue discussion on Rebelle, feel free to do so in a new thread. As far as I can tell, this one needs to stop due to it not being good at heart. If anyone feels the need to play the gender card at all, I can tell you now that it's not going to do a thing to change my decision on this.
