OK then, aside from all the things we wouldn't actually do with Nerf darts, has anyone experimented with Gen 3 darts ? I ordered a couple hundred on the fleaBay so I could check them out. They are very interesting. I took a semester of aerodynamics back in the day, and I can't figure out if this is a gimmick, or an bonafide improvement. For $9.35 I'm going to find out ;-)
Gimmick ? Yes. The Gen-3s are better than Elite darts. But that's like saying "I'm slightly better than the worst". I'll admit, they work in all types of blasters pretty flawlessly. Springers, flywheels, clips, and front loaders. But they're not any more accurate than stock Elite darts. Yep, they go a long way. Yep, they don't jam. Yep, they don't hurt (for you all wimps that are afraid of FVJs).
But they're no better than the stock Nerf Elite Darts. Sorry guys. Facts is facts. Koosh Gen-3 = Nerf Elite in all aspects significantly relevant to Nerfers. And no, I don't have a chrono, or a high speed camera. But then again, reasonably intelligent Nerfers don't really need either of those to figure out these things for themselves.
Step 1: get your dart
Step 2: load the dart into the magazine
Step 3: insert magazine into nerf gun
Step 4: throw nerf gun at opponent (aim for the head)
Step 2: load the dart into the magazine
Step 3: insert magazine into nerf gun
Step 4: throw nerf gun at opponent (aim for the head)
that's how you should roll

That's how I already roll.

Well then you roll good
Umm, yeah ... right. Pedroh, my friend, you need to close this thread. We've gone from absurd to outrageous. Let's all admit this isn't something we would do with friends or colleagues, and move on.
That being said, a 3Kg cylindrical uranium Nerf dart fired with sufficient velocity at a 1kg uranium target would obliterate your opponent and everything else for 2.5 kilometers around. That's always an option. Just sayin'
Yeah, guys, let's not discuss unsafe practices with dart modification. I mean, obviously some of these posts are jokes, but keep in mind kids can see all of this, and, well, I'd rather them not go getting the wrong idea about what is and isn't okay.
I'm going to be removing this thread tomorrow, just a heads up.
Guys, calm down! I am kidding :v
Why should I do something like that? I only said that to scare MenacePotatoe. Do not take that seriously.

Initial discussion has to do with things that can actually harm other people, so I'd like to remove it. If you guys want to continue joke discussion in another thread that's fine, but I'd like to remove instances of modifications that can actually hurt others.
