My friend wants me to modify his Modulus, and I'll be happy to do it for free for him.
Heck, if I had the knowledge and you paid shipping, I'd be all for it. As it is, I do not know crap about modding flywheelers
I have. But you're gonna need some way to buy batteries, a charger, motors, a couple cans of paint, etc. I wasn't kidding, I totalled it up and you've got about $50 in parts and materials to do all the things you asked for.
I've got a better idea. Why don't you try a lock removal yourself, just for practice. Watch a couple youtubes and give it a go. The Stryfe is an excellent beginner's project. Just watch the accessory rail button, it likes to fly when you butterfly it. Everything else is screwed down.
Then for your next project you can try a voltage mod.
...so to get Drac to do that stuff you'd have to pay a premium for service, plus all the materials.
BS here knows his stuff!
BS, you can put as many as 3 IMRs in a Stryfe without rewiring. Personally I recommend 2 IMRs on a stock motor. Using 3 just burns it out faster. Plus, it doesn't increase the ROF or make the blaster any more accurate. Just faster, which means your darts go waaaay off into the weeds that much quicker ;-)
I've written about this several times, but I'd skip the TrustFires and get a couple or three decent protected IMRs, preferrably with 2000mAh or better. The TrustFires typically max at 900mAh. I like these On the Way batteries personally.
Try the lock mods first my friend. It's way cheaper ;-)
