RE: setting an example - COC/source
I have permission from FFA to use his images as long as some form of credit is given (ie: not cropping watermark, sourced in file info, etc.). Yes, I need to go and add the file information for the images, I plan on doing that. But I do have permission from him for the images. Same goes for NMR and AFON. If images from Tactical Tag (or any other blog) are on here, I will add proper source, unless Mike has given disapproval for the images being on here, and would rather me remove the images instead. You have always known about my stance on leaks. This should come as nothing new to you, especially considering you helped enforce the damn rule.
If there are no longer leaks, then is it fair for me to revert your edit on the Community News template? After all, you complained about there not being any news and that we should just get rid of the template, when you remove news that I had added to it. Kind of defeats the purpose. - Not only is it not a big deal, I'm getting rather tired of your negativity towards myself, the remainder of staff, and the wiki itself. You never focus on this wiki in a positive tone, always critiquing it yet never making the improvements anymore.
- If you think you can do better, then let's see it. I've give you enough time, yet you still haven't shown any progress on your new site. Unless you can show me a better wiki than this one, I'd appreciate it if you were to stop knocking it.
- It's getting hard to deal with. I did not provoke your angry messages on my talk page or on the forums. If you notice a problem, then fix it. Please stop telling me that problems exist but not actually putting any effort towards fixing them. I do not mean any of this in a negative way, but this solves no problems. I did not scan the image, however as I do not record the sources of most images I obtain, I'm not sure where it is from. That one in particular might have been from one of the early sites, such as Eric's Nerf Page or NerfCity. I would prefer just to have a notice on each of the images regarding potential copyright status. I am not too concerned about sourcing every image as that takes far too much time than necessary. As you stated, most of the time, a Google search sources the images back, although I'm not sure why you had to source the catalog images I uploaded.
Regardless, we were securing the ability to use two requested images, not many, just two. The permission for the two was revoked when you asked for permission for however many images you asked for. All images from Super Soaker Central also have permission for us to use, and since the website has gone rather inactive, it may be hard for your wiki to obtain their permission.
